1 --- Abraham began to haggle with God on behalf of the people of the cities. ▣
아브라함은 그 도시들의 백성들을 위해서 하나님과
끈질기게 논쟁하기 시작했다. ■ 2 --- The town of Bethlehem was
heaving with tired travellers trying to find a bed for the night. ▣
베들레헴 마을은 밤을 지낼 잠자리를 찾으려는 피곤한 여행객들도
붐볐다 ■ 3 --- People often do give more when they are happy and churches need to be careful of not exploiting this by merely hyping up the worship before a collection. Never think that by giving more you will become happier, or that the joy God gives has to be paid for. ▣ 사람들은 행복할 때 종종 더 내놓으며, 그래서 교회들은 헌금 전에 단지 예배를 부추겨서 이것을 부당하게 이용하려 하지 않도록 주의할 필요가 있다. 더 많이 내 놓으면 더 행복해 질 것이라든지 하나님이 주시는 기쁨은 돈으로 보상되어야 한다든지 하는 생각은 결코 하지 말아야 한다.
